Northern light experienced a breathtaking bumper year of both beeswax candle production/demand and beeswax quality last year – these two  go hand in hand it seems.. The quality of the wax that northern light is obtaining for this year's candles is rarely as good, gold like, and coming from trees that are having their best flowering for 20 years or so. This is because of all the rain that australia has been receiving, particuarly in the western country.

As you will see,  this coming year will result in our best art to date, primarily because of the massive tide of support that you have given and the perfect quality of the beeswax that we are obtaining presently.

So thank you, northern light will use this tide of support for good and set an example of a healthy ethical, sustainable business producing candle light made of the lightest of steps.

Below is some of your feedback from last year, we couldn't put them all in, though your comments deserve another thank you.

The supporters of northern light are largely responsible for the direction of this coming year – more sustainability, higher quality, originality, impeccable service, that's the plan.

Just wanted to say a quick personal thank you and to congratulate you on the high quality of your products. The rounded reusable tea light tins in particular are just beautiful. I also appreciated the simple and careful packaging of the tea light candles I ordered, not to mention the handwritten welcome note. I've known of Northern Light for some time now but this has been my first purchase and I'm wondering why it's taken me so long! My package arrived yesterday.

Thank you so much for the great care that went into packing it.
From the beautiful brown box to the layers of shredded paper that hid each of my purchase.
The handwritten note and of course my gift. But most of all the for love and care in which these things were carried out.

I have been using northern light for over  8 years but this was my first online purchase, but  certainly not my last.

Thank you so much – the camel train must have plodded miles over the weekend, because the parcel arrived yesterday. Dear Northern Light

Your beautiful special candles arrived very quickly, and thank you for the extra addition.  The calmer light has a tall flame that lights up the whole bedroom.  It really does make everything feel calmer!!  I tell everyone who asks that they are the best candles, ever.  I only ever had emergency candles and a few scented soy candles but wasn't really into them.  That changed when i used your candles!  They have a subtle natural barely-there wholesome smell about them that i look forward to, and now i can tell the smell of a petroleum based candle straight away and my nose wrinkles up.  I inspect candles in shops everywhere i go now but never end up buying them because i know i already have something better.  I would normally use some for gifts but i don't think i can, i want them all to ourselves!

A HUUUGGGGEEE \"Thank You\" for my beautiful tea lights!!!  I am VERY happy with them – not only do they look nice, they also smell great and they came so beautifully presented (I loved your little note too, it was a lovely, unexpected personalised touch!) I was so impressed!  I WILL be buying from you again and I will be sure to forward your website to my friends (the \"Muse\" tea lights are so incredibly cute!) so that they can buy from you as well. 

The main reason I purchased my candles from Northern Light is because I know that beeswax is a far healthier alternative to burning commercial tea lights (which are usually made out of parafin), and I have two young children and am becoming more and more conscious  as time goes on, of what they are exposed to…  Also, because Northern Light tea lights come WITH re-usable (environmentally friendly) holders AND because Northern Light Beeswax candles were THE MOST reasonably priced! I looked at quite a few other websites and couldn\'t find anything that compared to your value-for-money offers! Well done on providing a high quality product at such a great price and delivering it so quickly – WELL DONE!
